IT Support Technician
£26,000 – £32,000 basic
Havant – 50% hybrid working
Your Challenge
Working as part of a small team of three engineers, you will be responsible for providing internal IT support to around 200 users across the business, dealing with around 300 support tickets every month.
As the IT Support Technician, you will be supporting the entire organisation across 1st line, 2nd line and 3rd line support.
You will also get the chance to get stuck in with a variety of projects, ranging in a variety of technologies from networking, infrastructure and cloud.
You will be working closely with the Infrastructure Engineer, who is responsible for all critical and 3rd line issues.
They will act like a mentor, and give you direct training, to help excel your skill set and increase your responsibilities to step up into their shoes and cover their senior infrastructure & networking technical duties in their absence.

About You:
First and foremost, you should have some experience providing 2nd line IT support.
You can either be an experienced 1st line & 2nd line support technician, or an experienced 2nd line and 3rd line support engineer to succeed in this role.
As an IT Support Technician you have some experience with the following technologies:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- O365
- Azure
- Networking topology, including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP
- Virtualisation technologies
