A little bit about me…

I didn’t fall into recruitment like everyone else.  Recruitment found me.  20 years later I still love it.

I want to make a difference in recruitment – that’s what gets me out of bed in the morning.

I always give 100% .. unless I’m giving blood.

Where can you find me at the weekend?

Either in the gym, up a mountain, or on a kayak.  I love the outdoors.

I only popped out to get a paper… before I knew it, I’ve spent almost 20 years in IT recruitment and have run my own business for 10 years.

I specialise in IT recruitment across both the contract and permanent markets.

Where can you find me at the weekend?

Spending time with family and playing with my daughter are the most important things to me.

I always try to squeeze in holidays and weekends away. Always enjoy seeing new places.

Currently studying German – I’ve been on a Duolingo streak since the start of January 2023!

Met Princess Royal during her visit to Daedalus Airfield, celebrating the airfield’s 100^th birthday.

A little bit about me…

I got into recruitment over 4 years ago whilst in Australia. I was a broke backpacker at the time and had to walk 1 ½ hours in the Sydney sun to make it to my first interview! Thankfully, I packed some deodorant in my bag. 

I’ve been at Mexa Solutions for over 3 years now, with the majority of that time being spent working within the Microsoft Cloud market. I’m extremely grateful to work in such an exciting sector with an incredible community. The Microsoft Cloud space is constantly evolving with new releases always around the corner – sometimes it’s hard to keep up! With the release of ChatGPT and Microsoft tools and features such as Copilot and Viva, this industry really is at the forefront of how we work.

Where can you find me at the weekend?

I’ll generally be playing sports or exercising; mainly tennis, golf, running, or hiking. I also really enjoy exploring, whether that’s the UK or abroad – my most recent trip was to Montenegro which I’d definitely recommend!

And a fun fact?

​I once won an all-inclusive holiday for my whole family to Barbados. I was 12!

A little bit about me…

I started my recruitment journey in 2018 in the retail sector, before doing a complete 180 and diving into the world of IT recruitment. And wow, it’s a completely different kettle of fish. I love the different dynamics to the IT world, and that the saying ‘every day is a learning day’ could not be a truer statement.

I am also working at Mexa part-time as I have a two-year-old son, who is my whole entire world.

Where can you find me at the weekend?

Our favourite thing to do as a family is to go on a long dog walk, somewhere in the countryside, and stop in a lovely pub for a Sunday roast and a glass of wine!

And a fun fact?

I am the 13th Granddaughter descended from one of the world-famous Pendle Witches! (If you are into that sort of thing!)
