    1st Line Service Desk Analyst – Be the calm voice when things go wrong.

    £27,000 - £32,000 | Basingstoke (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

    Not because you have all the answers instantly, but because you listen, you care, and you know how to get things moving in the right direction.

    This is a great opportunity to join an internal IT team where 1st line support isn’t about rushing tickets out of the door. It’s about delivering a solid experience for users and building strong foundations in a modern Microsoft 365 environment.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries
    • Exposure to 2nd line support on lower priority tickets to help improve your knowledge and progress your career
    • Logging, troubleshooting, and resolving day-to-day issues across a Microsoft 365 environment
    • Supporting users with laptops, desktops, applications, and connectivity issues
    • Escalating more complex problems when needed with clear notes and ownership
    • Helping set up devices for new starters and replacements
    • Keeping ticket records and documentation tidy and up to date
    • Working closely with the wider IT team during changes, upgrades, and rollouts
    • Spotting patterns and suggesting small improvements to how support is delivered

    What you’ll bring

    • Experience in a 1st line / service desk role (or similar IT support environment)
    • Confidence supporting users across Microsoft 365 and Windows
    • A calm, friendly approach when dealing with non-technical users
    • Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
    • A genuine interest in IT and a desire to keep learning
    • Someone who takes ownership and sees issues through to resolution
