    QA Engineer - Genesys Cloud (Omnichannel, Automation, CI/CD)
    £400 - £500 / day | Fully Remote | Outside IR35 | 3-month contract (likely to extend)

    Experience in testing contact centre solutions / Genesys Cloud is essential for this role.

You’ll be the go-to for quality, shaping test strategy, designing automation, and collaborating with engineers and product to build great things.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Leading QA within a cross-functional agile squad delivering new Genesys Cloud capabilities
    • Designing and developing automated tests (frontend and backend) with TypeScript or similar
    • Validating chatbot flows, messaging journeys, call routing logic, and integrations
    • Building out test coverage for APIs, user journeys, and platform behaviours
    • Embedding automated testing into CI/CD workflows
    • Working closely with engineers and product to refine stories and define acceptance criteria
    • Balancing automation with targeted manual validation when it adds more value
    • Supporting deployments and investigating issues in production environments
    • Constantly pushing for shift-left, test-first thinking within the squad

    What you’ll bring to the table:

    • Strong experience in QA engineering with Genesys Cloud or similar omnichannel platforms
    • A solid automation background, ideally with TypeScript, Playwright, or equivalent tools
    • Hands-on experience testing cloud-based platforms (Azure, GCP, etc.)
    • Experience working in agile squads and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines
    • Solid understanding of test strategy, coverage, and quality metrics
    • Confident communicator: happy in ceremonies, with engineers, or in stakeholder discussions
    • Bonus points for testing chatbot or conversational flows, or SaaS/low-code platforms
