An opportunity to work on, lead and manage medium, large & enterprise level data centre migration & transformation projects.
While working for a leading IT consultancy in their consultancy team of circa 50 people, with the wider business being circa 300 staff.
You’ll be leading the technical project team, engaging key stakeholders to define the requirements and strategies, providing direction for a successful project delivery.
You’ll role will be a senior person in the team, acting as a Technical Design Authority through design, implementation and delivery.
Technical projects will consist of data centre migrations and cloud migration projects across Azure & AWS and working with TOGAF frameworks.

Principle Technical Consultant – Data Centre Migrations
£80,000 - £90,000 + 10% bonus
Based in the South-East of England
Once/week in either London or Portsmouth

Essential skills:
- Excellent experience of leading technical data centre migration projects
- Excellent IT consultancy background with many years of experience
- Strong cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure
- Strong experience of leading on transformation strategies, roadmaps & solutions
- Strong experience of managing and leading on customer workshops
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
This position would suit a Technical Consultant / Senior Consultant / Principle Consultant / Technical Design Authority / Technical Architect who has strong & proven experience of leading and managing technical Data Centre migration projects in a consultancy environment.
This position is looking to start ASAP, will be home based / 1 day per week in either London or Portsmouth and will be paying from £80,000 - £90,000 depending upon background and experience.
