Working for a growing technology company on their managed service technical support function, the Technical Support Manager / Support Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a small team of 1st line & 2nd line technical support analysts. The Technical Support Lead will be technically strong as will be involved in 2nd line and 3rd line support - the technical environment will be focusing across Microsoft Cloud Technologies including Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange, with exposure to cloud technologies across Azure IaaS, Exchange Online & SharePoint Online. The successful will be engaging extensively with external customers to ensure reviews and SLA management and onboarding new customers.

This Technical Support Manager / Support Lead position will be leading the Managed Service Support function for the IT consultancy as it continues to grow.

Required Skills:

- Strong IT support management / team leadership experience across Service Desk / Helpdesk support functions

- Strong 2nd line & 3rd line support / technical lead experience

- Strong experience of supporting Windows Server technologies, Exchange, Active Directory and Office 365

- Experience of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, vLANs, VPN and Firewalls

- Strong customer engagement experience

- Ideally a strong hands-on technical support background

- Ideally good Microsoft Cloud experience across Azure IaaS, Exchange Online & SharePoint Online

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit a Technical Lead / Technical Support Lead / Service Desk Lead / Service Desk Supervisor / Service Desk Team Leader / Technical Support Manager / IT Support Manager / Service Desk Manager / IT Manager / Support Team Leader, who has strong experience of leading IT support functions with strong customer engagement experience and a technology background across Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange and Active Directory.

This Technical Support Lead position is looking to start ASAP, will be based in Basingstoke and will be paying from £40,000 - £55,000 depending upon background and experience.
