How does a quick promotion to Principal Engineer sound? Good? Then this is the role for you

You're a Senior .NET Developer with solid Azure experience. You know your craft and you've been thinking about what could be next. The transition from Senior Developer to Principal Engineer is often a tough step to take. Not because you don't have the skills, but because often the most senior positions within companies are being hoarded by people who've been embedded in the company for decades…

To reach that next run of the ladder you need a promotion and quickly. You need a smaller company who is growing rapidly and has a £20+ million order book, giving you the opportunity to progress as this company inevitably grows to new heights.

Your Task:

You'll be coming in to a sub-50 person company with huge financial backing as their Senior .NET Developer. Your expertise in the .NET and Azure space will be a huge asset to their current dev team and as such, you will be rewarded with a quick promotion to their Principal Engineer as soon as you've embedded within the business.

You will work closely with the VP of Engineering to continue to innovate and improve their current and future MedTech product offering.

You will be responsible for the cloud hosted software & applications that links to their various different medical hardware products.

Real time is a large focus for you, ideally using SignalR in Azure - The last thing you want is to have lag when remotely controlling medical equipment!

So who are you?

Well first and foremost, you're an experienced .NET Developer with solid Microsoft Azure experience. You've operated at a relatively senior level and can help out Junior Devs as and when they need assistance.

Solid understanding of working within Azure cloud and preferably good DevOps experience.

SignalR experience is a VERY nice to have, however isn't a deal breaker for someone with the right experience and can-do attitude.

Finally, you're a motivated individual who is hungry to be a key player within the business and keen to grow in to their Principal Engineer position.
