Working for a growing technology business, the Lead PHP Developer will be responsible for leading and mentoring a small team of PHP Developers which heavily focuses on backend development, with some exposure to front end development too. The team work with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux technologies in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment environment.
Required Skills:
- Excellent PHP development skills - consisting of either backend or full stack development
- Experience if mentoring/leading a team, or an experience Senior Developer who is interested in stepping up to a Lead Developer / Team Lead role
- Technology experience ideally consisting of the following: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Symfony, PostgreSQL, JavaScript
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience
This position would suit a Lead PHP Developer / Lead Developer / Lead PHP Engineer / Lead Engineer / Senior PHP Developer / Senior Developer / Senior Engineer / PHP Team Leader, who has strong experience of backend (and ideally front end) PHP development in a team lead capacity, or someone who is ready to step into a Team Lead role.
This Lead PHP Developer position is looking to start ASAP, will be home-based or based from Southampton, Hampshire, paying from £50,000 - £60,000, depending upon background and experience.
