Your new Challenge
A well-established financial services organisation is going through a huge cloud transformation project and they are looking for a Lead Azure Engineer / Technical Lead to take front with the architectural design and deployment of this cloud solutions project.
Leading a small team of 3 engineers, you will be responsible for designing, building and launching a greenfield cloud-hosted platform which will be based in Azure. This role is a 70/30 design/implementation split.
Their current infrastructure setup is 95% on premise, and they are looking to bring this all to the cloud as they're designing and launching a greenfield cloud hosted infrastructure and database platform.
As the technical lead of the project, you will identify cost reductions in operations and delivery. You will work closely with the business and technology stakeholders.
The technical environment will be across Infrastructure as Code for Automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD, scripting tools and Azure for infrastructure and data management.
About you?
You must first and foremost you should have hands on experience with cloud technologies including the architectural design and deployment.
You must also have experience with the following technologies:
Azure
IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and FaaS
Agile methodologies
