IT Service Desk Manager, with proven experience of leading 1st line & 2nd line support teams, ideally in an IT Service Provider environment, is required for a growing IT Service Provider based in Chichester, West Sussex. The role can be circa 80% home based and will be paying from £30,000 - £40,000, depending upon background and experience.

Working for a growing IT Service Provider / Managed Service Provider

£30,000 - £40,000, depending upon background and experience.

Working within the IT Service Desk / IT Helpdesk of a well established and growing IT service provider, the IT Service Desk Manager will be responsible for leading a small team of 1st line support & 2nd line support analysts who deliver first-class IT support to their external customers. This Service Desk Manager position will be responsible for managing the staff on a daily basis, distributing workloads, staff meetings, probations & recruitment and will report directly to the Technical Manager.

Required Skills:

- Good, proven experience as a Support Team Leader / Helpdesk Manager / Service Desk Manager

- Good 1st line & 2nd line support experience

- Proven technical experience across Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, networking, virtualisation

- Ideally, previous experience of working within an IT Service Provider / Managed Service Provider environment

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit a Helpdesk Manager / Service Desk Manager / IT Support Team Leader / Support Lead / Service Desk Team Leader, who has proven experience in leading a small team of 1st line & 2nd line support staff, ideally in an IT Service Provider environment.

This IT Service Desk Manager position is looking to start ASAP, will be home based with 1 day/week in Chichester, West Sussex. It will be paying from £30,000 - £37,000, depending upon background and experience.
