IT Infrastructure Manager, with strong technical infrastructure engineering background across Windows Server, Azure, VMware and Cisco, is required for a leading organisation. This is a home based position with 1-2 office visits each month in Southampton, Hampshire. The salary is from £50,000 - £60,000, depending upon experience.

This position will be open to Senior Infrastructure Engineers wanting & ready to step up their careers.

Working within the Infrastructure Services division of a leading organisation, the Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for leading a small infrastructure team while leading from the front in the delivery of some key infrastructure projects for the organisation. The infrastructure team supports 800-900 staff from the systems administration / infrastructure engineer level upwards (no service desk involvement), duties will include BAU support / escalations from the service desk and delivering on key projects. Key technology areas are Azure, Windows Server, Cisco and VMware.

Required Skills:

- Excellent background as an Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Administrator

- Ideally strong team leader / manager level experience

- Excellent experience in supporting and delivering Azure projects

- Ideally Azure AZ-104 certified

- Strong experience across Windows Server, VMware and Cisco technologies

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit an Infrastructure Manager / IT Manager / Head of IT / Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Senior Systems Administrator / Senior Support Engineer, who has expert level experience as an Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Administrator across Azure, Windows Server, Cisco and VMware technologies, ideally with Team Leadership / Manager level experience.

This IT Infrastructure Manager position is looking to start ASAP, will be home based + 1-2 days/month in Southampton office. The role will be paying £50,000 - £60,000, depending upon experience.
