IT Field Technician / IT Technician, is required for a leading technology company for an initial 2 month contract. The role will be field based with travel across the country. the role will be paying £125 / day (Limited/Umbrella Company).

Working for a leading technology company on a nationwide server decommissioning project, the IT Field Technician will be responsible for visiting sites post server implementation to decommission and pack up the old servers ready for shipping. There will be no installation or configuring of servers - this will have already happened. The old servers will need decommissioning and taken away. As travel across the UK is required, the successful person will need to have a full driving licence and their own vehicle for travel, travel by train to further locations will be required - travel is fully paid.
- Good IT background within IT Service Desk / Network Support / Server Support
- Ability to decommission old IT servers ready for shipping & transport
- Full driving licence and own vehicle
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
This position would suit IT Technician / Server Engineer / Field Engineer / Field Technician / Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst / Desktop Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer, who has good IT support experience and the ability to decommission and remove IT servers.
This IT Field Technician / IT Technician / IT Field Engineer/Server Installation Engineer position is looking to start ASAP, will require UK-wide travel by car & train and will ideally be based around Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead or Oxford. The role will be paying £125/day - Limited/Umbrella Company - outside IR35.
