Working with a growing company who are a specialist IT Consultancy and Managed Service Provider, the IT Account Manager will be pivotal to the ongoing growth for the business through the selling of specialist Microsoft cloud services, support and solutions to their customer base. The IT Account Manager will be proactively seeking out new business, prospecting, identifying leads and opportunities to build and win new business. Specifically this will be done through nurturing existing customer relationships, spotting upselling opportunities and working with business development managers to identify leads and close deals.
The cloud solutions offering covers Microsoft Office 365, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Exchange Online, Cyber Security, networking, server and workstations as well as Managed Support Services. This role would suit someone who comes from an IT sales background - ideally consultancy or Managed Service Provider, who is an expert in building relationships and trusted partnerships with customers, to understand their challenges and pain points in order to commute technology solutions back to the customer.
- Excellent, proven IT sales background
- Ideally previous experience within IT Consultancy / Microsoft Partner / Managed Service Provider
- Ideally good previous experience of selling Microsoft cloud solutions and managed services
- Good experience of Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, Virtualisation, Exchange Online, Cyber Security, SharePoint Online, IaaS, PaaS
- Strategic, relationship led, consultative sales background
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience
This position would suit an IT Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Consultant / Business Development Consultant / Sales Account Manager / IT Sales Exec / Sales Executive, who has strong experience of IT sales, ideally selling Microsoft Cloud Services, Solutions and Managed Support Services to external clients.
This IT Account Manager / Business Development Manager position is looking to start ASAP, will be based in Havant + flexibility for home working, and will be paying from £28,000 - £35,000 basic + uncapped OTE - depending upon background and experience
