Infrastructure Support Technician, with an infrastructure support background of providing 2nd line infrastructure support in a managed service environment, is required for a Managed Service Provider based in Bournemouth, Dorset, paying from £25,000 - £30,000.

Shift working pattern - 4 days on/off, 12 hour working pattern, across day & night shifts.

Working for a Managed Service Provider

£25,000 - £30,000, depending upon background and experience.

Working within the IT Service Desk / Infrastructure Support team of a growing Managed Service Provider, the Infrastructure Support Technician will be responsible for providing 2nd line BAU infrastructure support & cloud support to managed service customers and dealing with major escalations from the 1st Line Service Desk team. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to expand their career and exposure within MSP support. The technology environment is across Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Hyper-V, Windows 10, networking (DNS, DHCP, routing & switching) and Office 365.

Required Skills:

- Strong 2nd line and infrastructure IT support experience

- Good experience across Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365

- Good awareness of Hyper-V or VMware, and networking across DNS, DHCP

- Ideally good experience of supporting Azure environments

- Ideally previous experience of working for a managed service provider / IT Service Provider - not essential

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit an Infrastructure Support Technician / 2nd Line Support Analyst / 2nd Line Analyst / Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Technician / IT Support Engineer / IT Technician / Helpdesk Support, who has strong experience in providing 2nd line support in an IT Services / Managed Services environment.

This Infrastructure Support Technician position is looking to start ASAP, will be based in London paying from £25,000 - £35,000, depending upon background and experience
