This position is working inside IR35
Working within the IT infrastructure & systems department of this education company, the IT Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Engineer will be responsible for helping to rebuild the entire IT function’s infrastructure from scratch.
This will be an entirely project focused initially include a lot of firewall, network, filtering and security aspects. But it will also include a server and network upgrade, new switches, a WiFi upgrade, new domains, a laptop refresh and a move to Microsoft 365.
This is a huge piece of transformation work and this person will be front and centre working on and leading the IT project delivery of all the technical delivery areas.
Required Skills:
- Excellent and proven background in project delivery of a range of infrastructure projects
- Excellent experience across IT infrastructure, server, networking and end user desktop
- Strong experience of networking, security, firewalls, filtering, patching and server management
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience
This position would suit an IT Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Engineer / Project Engineer / Systems Administrator / System Administrator / Technical Consultant, who has strong experience of delivering projects across IT infrastructure, networks, servers & security.
