Google Cloud Platform Data Architect

Your opportunity to join one of the best, leading consultancies.
Working closely with project managers, you will support the team by providing your expertise and knowledge in analysis, design, development, and rollout, working with data models and new solutions for the business.
The focus for this position is to provide key engagement with the client creating new solutions.
You will provide technical excellence relating to data modelling, data movement and transformation mapping, and converting business requirements into new technical solutions.
So, what can you expect?
Your responsibilities will include managing and leading technical teams - designing and executing new end to end solutions for the client.
As a key leader of the team, you will build, migrate, and launch services onto Google Cloud Platform. You will also design and develop data models, for large data lake and data warehouse solutions.
As well as this, you will create technical documents relating to data integration architecture, data models, source mapping, data integration specifications and data testing plans.
In this role you will be working closely and collaborating with Clients and Business Users to test requirements and sell solutions, so strong communication skills are required.
About you
You will have a strong experience and understanding in architecting, designing, and carrying out tasks utilizing Google Cloud Platform as well as using a variety of Big Data technologies, solutions, and platforms.
A good knowledge and experience with data warehouse and databases such as SQL Server, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Azure, Redshift, Synapse would be excellent.
You will be capable of analysing business requirements and transforming them into new solutions.
Ideally, you will have team leadership experience, or can demonstrate leadership qualities.
This role will involve travelling and working at Client sites.
