Data Engineer - Cloud - 75K - FTC - Rolling 6 months

Are you one of those people that loves working with big data? Devising technical solutions, designing data models and influencing the design and implementation of models? If so then this could be a good role for you.

This growing consultancy is looking for support at one of their biggest clients. It's a 6-month fixed-term contract but it will more than likely be extended on a rolling contract basis.

You would be required to do Hybrid work so that you can have a couple of days on the client site in Halifax each week.

Skills-wise, they are looking for Big data, including systems such as Hadoop and Spark. Data Transformation and ETL experience, then programming in languages Python and Scala!

You will need to be a UK citizen due to the nature of the role.
