Data Engineer (Mid-level to Senior)

Up to 85k package

Take centre stage in the success of the UK's ever-growing financial system.

As the Data Engineer, you will work within a highly successful multinational consultancy company - this is an employer that will look great on your CV.

With an already successful and highly skilled Data team in place, you'll be involved in developing and deploying critical projects that will bring further success to the business.

This is a role you'll find hard to get bored within.

You will be part of a team that is continuing to grow and be invested in, with a pipeline of work that will open countless opportunities in the future.

An opportunity to upskill and with a clear path of progression.

In addition, you'll get a benefits package that truly benefits. Up to 25 days holiday (with the option to buy up to 10 more days), private medical insurance, 4x life assurance package, car allowance and a flexible benefits fund (the last two of which can be taken as cash instead).

So, what can you expect?

As part of the Data team, you'll get exposure to large financial organisations, working on the most advanced cloud tech like Azure and AWS and upcoming technologies such as NoSQL and Databricks. You'll be delivering enterprise-level Data solutions to a large portfolio of reputable and well-known clients - we're talking about the big leagues here.

Don't worry if your Data Engineering skills are not fully up to date - the team are happy to provide the time, funds, and knowledge to help you get up to speed.

This culture is all about enabling success and autonomy. Self-development is encouraged, and there is an approachable management team with the desire to see you excel.

The company is always on the lookout for Data-focused people, so even if you're relatively new to the Data world, or have decades of experience, it doesn't matter - they welcome it all as they push forward to success.

About you

For this role, you'll need to have a level of Data experience using one or more of the following technologies:

  • ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Oracle, Glue or similar

  • Cloud experience (though not essential)

  • Data Warehousing experience

If you don't have it all, that's okay - the most important thing is a willingness to learn and collaborate with your team.

You'll also need some experience within the financial sector (ideally banking), as this is the core of their client base.

Building and cultivating strong relationships will be key to this role, as you work within the business and with external clients.
