Business Development Consultant - IT Recruitment

Despite being in our third lockdown, we have seen the recruitment market steadily increase over the last few months; many organisations are back to normal hiring again and we are back to pre-Covid levels of hiring in many areas of the market. We are looking at our hiring plans again and are expecting to onboard people in the coming weeks and months.

We offer one of the best commission structures in the area.

Here is a breakdown of Mexa's commission structure for our 360-Recruitment Consultants...

  • Consultant (25% Commission)
  • Senior Consultant (30% Commission)
  • Lead Consultant (35% Commission)

There are regular bonuses and accelerators for overachieving.

The role

This position is a business development only role. You will be backed by a delivery team whose sole role is to fill jobs which will free up your time to purely focus on develop, nurture and bring in new business. Once you bring in new business the delivery team takeover. You'll earn commission for winning business and on the jobs which are filled as a direct result of your hard work.

Currently, we are looking for people from an IT / technology recruitment or IT sales background.

You'll either be a 360-degree IT recruiter already who wants to focus purely on business development, or a senior Recruitment Resourcer / IT Account Manager who wants to step into a sales focused recruitment role. You could also be a proven sales / business development manager within the sales/technology space who wants to get into the recruitment market.

Your approach will be strategic and quality led to start forming strong partner-focused relationships with clients.

You will add value to organisations, offering sound consultative advice around recruitment, their processes and the niche market which you work within.
