Not “just” an AV Technician.

Or your average AV Support Engineer role by keeping the lights on and troubleshooting audio visual issues.

You’ll be helping one of the oldest companies in Portsmouth on a transformation journey with AV projects, AV support, and wider IT helpdesk support.

AV Technician / AV Engineer

£25,000 - £32,000

Portsmouth – ad hoc hybrid working

 

Your Challenge

Not your average AV Support Engineer role.

There is a huge AV / audio visual migration & upgrade project to standardise all AV equipment. You as the AV Technician / AV Support Engineer will be helping with this entire project.

You'll be part of a dynamic and expanding team of skilled engineers and will be supporting a user base of 1800 individuals across the organisation for any audio visual problems – devices not working correctly, Teams/Zoom/Google Meet, projectors/display devices etc.

But, you’ll also have the opportunity to level up on your IT knowledge by supporting the IT helpdesk with any more general IT support queries around devices/emails/hardware – Office 365 and active directory.

About You:

First and foremost, you should have some strong and knowledgeable experience providing AV support / audio visual support.

As an AV Technician / AV Support Engineer you have some experience with the following technologies:

  • Microsoft Team / Zoom / Google Meet
  • Display devices/projectors etc.
  • Supporting meeting room equipment
  • Ideally Active Directory and Office 365
