Working for a growing Managed Service Provider/IT Consultancy

£30,000 - £35,000 + on-call / call out allowance

Shift rota - 1 week in 4 weeks

Working for a growing Managed Service Provider & IT consultancy the 2nd Line Support Engineer will be working on the technical support desk responsible for supporting the BAU support of the external customer base. In addition, 10-20% of your time will be involved in managing & delivering M365 and Azure projects. This will include 2nd line infrastructure support across Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint, virtualised environments in VMware / Hyper-V and networking technologies across DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.

Required Skills:

- Strong 2nd line infrastructure support background

- Excellent Windows Server experience

- Excellent experience of Azure, Azure Active Directory, Office 365

- Good VMware/Hyper-V experience

- Good networking experience across DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

- Ideally experience of supporting SharePoint and Intune

- Ideally good experience of project delivery

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit a 2nd Line Support Engineer / 2nd Line Support Analyst / Technical Support Engineer / Technical Lead / Service Desk Engineer / Service Desk Analyst / IT Technician, who has strong 2nd line support experience across M365 & Azure - O365 and Azure Active Directory, ideally in a Managed Service environment.

This 2nd Line Support Engineer position is looking to start ASAP, will be HOME BASED with travel to the client office in Bournemouth, Dorset 2 days per week. This role is paying from £30,000 - £35,000 + on-call / call out allowances.
