2nd Line Support Engineer

HOME BASED + 2 days/week in the office


£30k - 35k basic

Your Challenge

Working for a leading Microsoft Partner and IT Consultancy, you will be working on the technical support desk responsible for supporting the BAU support of the external customer base. In addition, 10-20% of your time will be involved in managing & delivering M365 and Azure projects.

The Business:

Working for a very well established and leading Microsoft Partner across Microsoft Cloud, that really like to look after and invest in their staff. They have a dedicated L&D program which you'll get enrolled in on day one - they'll assess where you are, where you want to get to, what training, certs & exposure you'll need along the way and help you to get there.

They semi-recently put this in place as until then they, like most companies, said that they invested in their staff but there was nothing in place, now they like to hold themselves accountable to it.

About You:

First and foremost, you should be an experienced 2nd line engineer have experience supporting the following technologies:

- Strong 2nd line infrastructure support background

- Excellent Windows Server experience

- Excellent experience of Azure, Azure Active Directory, Office 365

- Good VMware/Hyper-V experience

- Good networking experience across DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

- Ideally experience of supporting SharePoint and Intune

- Ideally good experience of project delivery

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

Previous experience of working in an MSP environment is advantageous.
