This growing IT Service Provider is looking for a good techie with great people skills to be the Team Leader on the service desk.

 

They'll give you and nurture your skills around team management, it's not required.

Working for a rapidly expanding IT service provider, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 1st/2nd line engineer or 1st/2nd line team lead to work their way up the career ladder.

The career progression won't stop there ... you'll have the opportunity to step into 2nd/3rd line, Information Security or IT management.

 

  • 1st Line Team Lead
  • WFH - 2 days/week in the office near Chichester
  • £25k - 28k basic

 

Your new challenge

Working for a small, but growing team of four engineers, you'll be the go to person on the 1st line team, providing guidance and support as well as delegating to ensure that your team are supporting customers to the highest level.

You will be responsible for escalation of 1st line tickets, as well as some involvement with 2nd line/2nd line Team Lead.

This role doesn't just stop there. You will also get involved with light touch and low level management, being the perfect starting opportunity to a future within management, if that is the path you wish to pursue.

 

About you

First and foremost, you should be an experienced 1st/2nd line engineer, or 1st line team leader.

It would also help if you have experience with the following technologies:

  • Active Directory
  • O365
  • Windows Server
  • VMware/Hyper-V
  • Networking

Experience working in an MSP environment is also beneficial but not a requirement.
