Working for a Managed Service Provider

£20,000-£24,000, depending upon background and experience.

Working within the IT Service Desk team of a growing Managed Service Provider, the 1st Line Service Desk Analyst / Support Technician will be responsible for providing 1st line BAU support for both applications and infrastructure products and solutions. Technical environment is across Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, laptop builds and patching. You'll also get involved in ad hoc project work.

The role will be home based with no requirements to go to the office. However, there is expected client travel, on average 3-4 times/week, mainly to the Watford customer, but also other sites up the M1 and in London.

Required Skills:

- Previous 1st Line support / Service Desk experience

- Good experience across PC hardware and MS server operating Systems

- Good understanding of Office 365, Active Directory and Group Policies

- Good awareness of Windows Server, MAC OS and networking technologies

- Ideally previous experience of working for a managed service provider / IT Service Provider - not essential

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

This position would suit a 1st Line Support Technician / Service Desk Analyst / Helpdesk Analyst / IT Support Technician / IT Support Engineer / IT Technician / Support Analyst who has s experience in providing 1st line support in an IT Services / Managed Services environment across Windows, Office 365, Active Directory and desktop support.

This 1st Line Support Technician position is looking to start ASAP, will be home based with customer travel to Watford & other local customers. The role is paying from £20,000 - £24,000, depending upon background and experience
